Our Care

What is residential care?

Residential care is for people whose care needs are low. Minimal assistance may be needed to do day to day tasks like washing and dressing but do not require more specialised care like nursing or support with conditions like dementia.

Crossways is run by a management team with the knowledge, experience and qualifications. Staff members are available 24 hours a day, including a qualified senior and care team.

The management team is available 7 days a week.

When required, district nurses can be called into the home to administer certain types of care or medicines or assist for complex needs or treatments.

When residential care necessary?

Typically the point where residential care is needed is when your loved ones, or the person that you care for is finding it difficult to live independently in their own home. This then may be the time to start to consider residential care and what it has to offer. Residential care provides the perfect way to balance independence with also giving them the confidence of 24 hour care.
